Innovate Acoustics is a specialist noise and vibration consultancy, with extensive experience in the field of environmental and architectural acoustics. Working closely with architects, planners, developers, industry, planning authorities and regulatory bodies, we provide acoustic assessment and design consultancy, with a focus on innovation and environmental sustainability.  Being an independent consultancy, we are able to provide the highest standard of service to our clients at all times and at very competitive rates.

Innovate Acoustics was established  in 2006 to create a specialist acoustics company that could focus on the needs of our clients, society and the environment, to provide a consistently high quality service and develop innovative and effective ways to produce market leading work. More than five years on, we have worked on over 400 different projects, for over 50 different clients, with 95% of our clients offering us the opportunity to bid for repeat business and 85% contracting with us to deliver repeat business. We feel that these statistics speak for themselves, in terms of the value and quality we offer.

Our consultants are Corporate Members of the Institute of Acoustics (MIOA), with all of our work being delivered by qualified and experienced acousticians, utilising highly sophisticated monitoring equipment and prediction models.

Innovate Acoustics is directed and managed by Kev Foster MIOA, who has over thirteen years experience working in Environmental Consultancy, with eleven years in the specialist field of acoustics.  He is highly experienced in a wide range of noise measurement, prediction and assessment projects. These include environmental noise and vibration surveys, compliance monitoring, Environmental Impact Assessments, Environmental Permit assessments and planning, occupational, construction, wind farm, road traffic, rail traffic, aircraft and industrial noise and vibration assessments, in addition to the provision of external pier review and expert witness testimony.

Neil Morgan MSc MIOA is an Associate Director, who provides further project management and technical ability, with over twelve years experience in the field of environmental acoustics, specialising in the assessment of environmental noise from a variety of sources, including wind farms, static installations and transport infrastructure. He is an experienced Cadna and Noisemap user and comes from a background of work withinlarge multi-disciplinary consultancies.

Rob Kimber MIOA is a senior acoustic consultant, who is highly experienced in both environmental and architectural acoustics. Rob is a specialist in architectural acoustics design, who regularly works with architects and internal space designers to deliver high quality, sustainable and socially acceptable internal and external acoustic environments.

In addition to our in-house project delivery capabilities, Innovate Acoustics also has a network of trusted and highly experienced specialist Associate Acoustic Consultants, located across the UK. This allows us to manage any short term peaks in workload, ensuring that project deadlines are met and also allows us to offer competitive pricing across the UK.
